My son and husband love to platform and saddle hunt. This kit has everything they need apart fro the saddle. This does come with a seat that is comfortable and gives your legs and bum a break from standing or sitting in the saddle. The platform is wide and safe for my teenager’s uncoordinated, but feet. The platform and climbing sticks are very secure to the tree. This kit was fairly lightweight to get out to their hunting ground in a backpack. Considering the quality, safety, and complete platform set, this is an excellent investment in our family’s hunting and freezer!
Very impressed with the structure, weight, and function of the stand. It¡¯s clearly designed to be ¡°on the go¡± for ease of carrying and simple to put it up. No extra weight and efficient design. Simple to hang on a tree with 2 straps. Comfortable seat and the seat angle and stand angle are both adjustable without tools- huge positive
Climbing sticks are solid and lightweight. 2 steps per stick and they nest together with an included/attached strap. The ¡°nest¡± looks nice and seems solid until it gets bumped or adjusts at all. One small movement or shift and the house of cards falls apart during transport. I¡¯m hoping to find a better way to strap them to the stand so I can free up my hands. The fold out step wings are nice, the weight is light, and they are quiet by design.
Only knock against this setup is the poorly designed nest featuring the climbing sticks. Otherwise this is a great stand that can rival some of the popular ones at twice the price.
Took about 45 minutes to have everything put together out of the box. Harness l, hardware, straps, everything is included.
A lot more comfortable than my other saddle hunt scans. I like the seat. It’s cushioned. I get tired of standing. Having the climbing sticks included is a big bonus for what you’re paying. You’re getting very good quality. I recommend them to the saddle Hunter. That’s tired of standing
