Impressively comfortable and easy to break in. Nice durable materials are for any trail or tree. Great hunting boot!
These Kalkal 8″ hunting boots have been a great addition to my outdoor gear. They feel sturdy and well made, but they¡¯re still comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a time. I like that they provide the protection and support I need without feeling excessively heavy. It should be noted that these boots are not snake proof so be aware of where you use them. The waterproofing is one of the features I appreciate most. There is a Neoprene 3mm waterproof bootie with anti-wicking inside the boot to keep my feet dry. They¡¯ve handled wet grass, muddy ground, and damp trails well. The insulation is also a nice touch for colder mornings and extended time outside. My feet stay warm without the boots becoming uncomfortable or overly bulky. The 8-inch design provides good ankle coverage and support, which is especially helpful when walking over uneven terrain. The sole has plenty of traction, and I¡¯ve felt secure walking across dirt, rocks, mud, and other slippery surfaces. The fit has been comfortable for me, with enough space to wear thicker outdoor socks when needed.Overall, I think these boots offer a great combination of warmth, waterproof protection, comfort, support, and traction. They¡¯ve performed well for my outdoor needs and feel like they¡¯re built to handle regular use for a while. If you¡¯re looking for an insulated waterproof boot that can be used for hunting, hiking, fishing, or other outdoor adventures, take a look at these.
I can¡¯t remember the last time I had a pair of ¡°winter¡± boots. For years, I have been slogging though the snow in a pair of old sneakers, trying (with mixed success) to avoid the deep spots and hoping I don¡¯t find a puddle of slush under a layer of white powder (also with mixed success).I grabbed these as soon as they became available, and they are wonderful¡ªclearly well made -!: structurally sound. They are not too heavy, and while I have not had the chance to try them in the white stuff yet, my feet were certainly toasty warm while I had them on.They are quite comfortable to wear once I have then on. I do have a swollen foot on my left side which makes that boot a little hard to get on and off¡ªbut that is an issue with my foot, not with the boots.I am very happy with these boots, and would gladly buy another pair if I had to.

?? When I¡¯m heading into the woods in colder weather, I want a hunting boot that keeps my feet comfortable, gives me decent traction, and doesn¡¯t make walking through rough terrain harder than it already is. These boots check most of those boxes.Through the Amazon Vine Program, I received these insulated waterproof hunting boots to try, and overall they have performed about as I expected from the listing.?? For hunting use, comfort is important, especially when walking through the woods, crossing uneven ground, climbing hills, or spending several hours on your feet. These boots feel comfortable and have enough insulation that I would consider them a good option for colder hunting days when a lightweight summer boot just isn’t going to cut it.?? The soles provide good traction for walking through the woods. Whether I’m dealing with leaves, dirt, grass, or typical uneven hunting terrain, I want a boot that feels planted instead of having me constantly worrying about slipping. So far, the tread seems appropriate for that type of outdoor use.?? The insulation is another plus. They have more of a cold-weather hunting feel than a basic hiking boot, which is important when you’re sitting or standing for extended periods and aren’t generating much body heat. Anyone who hunts knows your feet can get cold pretty quickly once you stop walking. One thing buyers should definitely be aware of is the sizing. ?? In my experience, these seem to run a little larger than the marked size. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing with hunting boots because it gives you some extra room for thicker cold-weather socks, but I would still pay close attention to the sizing before ordering.?? At a price point of around $89.99, I think they’re reasonably priced for an insulated hunting boot. They appear to be made well enough for normal hunting, hiking, fishing, and outdoor use, and I haven’t experienced anything that would prevent me from recommending them. That said, I also haven’t found anything that really separates them from other good hunting boots enough for me to give them five stars. ????? For me, a five-star product has to offer something exceptional, and these simply perform the way I expect a good pair of hunting boots to perform.? Comfortable for walking through the woods? Good traction for typical hunting terrain? Insulated for colder weather? Room for heavier hunting socks? Appear to match the listing? I would recommend them to a friend?? They seem to run a little largeOverall: ???? 4 StarsThese are a solid pair of hunting boots that I would be comfortable wearing into the woods during colder weather. ?????? They provide the comfort, insulation, and traction I look for in a hunting boot, but because the sizing seems slightly large and nothing particularly puts them above comparable boots, I’m staying at four stars.Review Disclaimer: Reviews are subjective and based on my personal experience.
