The construction is solid to a fault, the legs have wide articulating feet which can adjust to terrain conditions. The height is adjustable using a pin/hole setup, it is not pneumatic so you can’t dial it in perfectly, but a cushion can be used for fine height adjustments.

Quiet, silent swivel. It feels sturdy and stable while your sitting in it and is comfy overall. I’ve had several KalKal products and they have all been really well priced and really well made. This chair is no exception. Taken care of you should get a lot of years of use. It’s straightforward to put together and doesn’t take too long. You can adjust the height easily and once you get it dialed in you are ready. You can take the gun holder off when you don’t need it. It is easy to set up, but on the very edge of what I would call Portable. It is heavy duty and not easily schlepped around. But that is also what makes it so stable and comfortable. My only concern is for taller users as I’m 6’3″ at had it extended to it’s limits to get proper cheek weld and eye relief on the holder arm.

I have always used office chairs in my blinds but my wife ordered me this chair to try this year. I have it set up in one of my blinds and have tried it out for a few minutes and am looking forward to firearm season to get here. It’s pretty heavy so I would say to take it to where you will hunt and leave it. It’s straight forward to putting it together and doesn’t take too long. You can adjust the height easily and once you get it dialed in you are ready to sit back, relax, and wait for Mr. Johnson to show up. It feels sturdy and stable while your sitting in it and is comfy overall. Aside from being built well, it is really quiet which is an important detail.
Another important detail is the legs have a base that has some articulation to account for some unevenness if you have it sitting on the ground and not in a raised blind with a floor.
