I absolutely love these things. I had one once upon a time and I don’t know if I’ve just misplaced it or if I accidently left it hanging somewhere. This will definitely keep you dry in a rain storm while your in the tree stand as I don’t know about others but getting rained on while hunting just makes for a miserable day in the woods, however I’ve harvested just as many deer in the rain as I have right at dusk. This is super easy to use, deploys quickly, Made of a high quality fabric, (I spray mine once a year with waterproof, but well before season starts as well) it will fit on any tree that you plan on sitting in or that you can safely wrap your arms around. The only thing bad I can say and it’s not even bad because it makes for the most relaxing naps, is when rain is hitting this, it’s just as good as any noise maker you use to put your infant to sleep as it will be sure to make you nap even better in the tree.
This umbrella goes up faster than a deer flagging out of a food plot. Sets up quick, sturdy enough, and seems like it’ll handle rain or snow just fine ¡ though I haven’t been out in either yet to confirm. My stand’s tucked away in the shade, so I can’t speak to sun protection, but honestly, here in North Dakota, I’ll take all the sunlight I can get once winter rolls in.
Overall, it’s a solid addition to the stand setup one of those things you don’t think you need until you finally get one and wonder why you didn’t sooner.
Great addition fits two people
This is a nice camo umbrella for a ladder stand. There is a screw that attaches it to the tree and it is quite solid when attached. Keeps you out of the rain.
