Kalkal boots are the best shoes at a fantastic price. These boots are very comfortable to wear right out of the box. The neoprene top edge and gusset make these boots comfortable to wear all day in the mud and muck. I park in my yard and live down a long dirt road. I often have to get out of my car to get my mail in the mud. I wear these boots when it is raining to go to work and come home. I take my work shoes with me, but I wear these from the house to work and put them back on again when I head home. These are shorter ankle boots, but they work very well for what I need them form. I have the milky blue boots. They are a beautiful blue, which is why I picked them for the boots that I wear to work. These boots are so easy to get into and out of. The neoprene gusset gives and flexes as needed comfortably. These boots have strong slip resistance on our commercial vinyl tile floors. I need this as I have already fallen at work and herniated a disc in my back. I do not want to fall again, so I make sure to wear shoes with excellent grip when it rains. I live in the south of Georgia where we have tropical force winds and rain for regular thunderstorms, let alone when we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. These are ankle rain boots but I would say they would work for more than just the rain. These would be great for any muddy situation, think gardening, camping, fishing, etc. I picked these up because I am a commuter on public transportation and when it rains, it really rains here.I decided to go for something outside of my comfort zone and opted for the milky blue color. The color is cute, but I do wonder how it will hold up to any staining from dirt, like that red Georgia clay. A darker color could be better if that is your environment. Upon first inspection, they look very rugged. The rain boots I am using now scare me a little because there isn’t much grip on the bottom, and if you have ever walked through wet leaves in the fall, you understand how slippery they can be.The biggest thing to note is that they run big! I was excited because they actually had a size 5, which is rare. I will need some thick socks in them. I would not size up for these, in fact if I could go a size smaller I would. They are very comfortable on the inside, even with the extra room.I really like the pull on feature, no zippers, buckles, or ties. It makes them easy to slip on and off. They do remind me a little more of a winter boot, due to the thickness of the lining and because I will be having to wear thick socks with them.For a quality pair of boots, they are priced a the right point. These aren’t cheap boots that will only last a season, they have longevity.
Kalkal has to be one of my favorite brands here on Amazon. I have ordered several items from them and have never been disappointed, and these women’s ankle rain boots are no exception to that. I like the design of these little ankle rain boots and they do seem to be quite waterproof as long as the water isn’t above your ankle. I like that they have a pull on tab as mine were a little tight – they fit, but I wear an 8 and a half and ordered an 8, I should’ve sized up for a half size but wasn’t thinking, still that’s my error not there’s. They are easy to pull on thanks to that little tab and I can wear them, hoping they’ll stretch a bit as I wear them in. For the most part, they’re comfortable, and made of very durable materials. The color is as advertised and I’m happy with that as well. All and all, I do feel they are worth the money.
These boots are sooo comfortable. The inside lining is soft. They are rugged, well made and fit perfectly. They are stylish but simple which is perfect and easy enough to slip on and off. Traction is good during wet or dry weather. They do not seem to weigh too much. They have some heft to them as the soles seem thick and well made but your feet don’t feel tired after wearing them. I have not heard of the brand KalKal but I am certainly a fan now. Morning dew is no longer an issue. I love these.
