I have been using these while redoing the dreaded septic system on the house and I have most definitely put them through their paces. I would say these are as good or better than the brand that rhymes with...umm duck, yeah we will go with duck, I think they are even more comfortable, to be honest. fantastic waterproof boots that actually feel good to wear.
These are very simple, standard waterproof boots with a very sturdy sole. They slip on and off easily, and are sized a little large (presumably for thick socks), with plenty of room to blouse your trousers.The branding on the sides is a little aggressive, and they are not designed for support or cushion, but they will keep your feet warm and dry. I would recommend a good insert for them to add some cushion.As of right now, they are priced at ~$80, which feels pricey for what you get, but otherwise these seem like a solid buy.
I have been using these boots out where we are going some food plot work and the are great, they keep my feet dry and warm. I have large calves and these boots fit great even with my pants legs tucked in them.
I've owned some more popular name brand boots that have either had the waterproof layer separate or have gotten holes in them and lost their waterproof capabilities. These feel more heavy-duty than any others I've owned and they feel comfortable. Great quality and they can sure take a beating.
I like them for what they are, and they work well from my experience. No wet socks or anything when I'm out and about in heavy rain. (Crazy how bad it's been raining right when I got these lol) I'm not a fan of not being able to tighten them up since there aren't any laces or anything, but they do fit fine and walking in them is okay and not a chore or anything. They look exactly as advertised, so no complaints.
