Keeps your feet dry. Slides on comfortably and easily. They're fairly warm with proper socks. They also stay on your feet, even unstrapped and are unlikely to move around too much or accidentally slide off as you're walking around in them. Overall, I'd say these are darn good boots. I live in the northern Midwest of the good ol' USA. We tend to get a lot of snow and I need a good pair of "Keep my feet dry" trudging around in the snow boots. These appear to fit the bill, and I don't have many gripes overall about them.My limited criticisms would be these:-Why does the logo on these boots have to be so large? Most shoe manufacturers present their logo in a classy manner along the edge or have a recognizable emblem. These have a giant banner that says Kalkal on them. (Just un-necessary)-The gap along the top opening of the boot is pretty large and "Open". If you're not wearing pants to fit over these boots, and you have rain or snow "you're going to feel it". They are pretty open and will need to have the tops of them covered by pants unless you like that "cowboy boot" fit look.-Last criticism ties into my first comment about how these boots stay on your feet. A little too well I'll admit. You will need to tug them from your feet to get them to remove. If you've had tight fitting cowboy boots, they'll be similar. I can't even really classify this as a true "criticism" more my pride was a little hurt as I struggled to remove them and looked ridiculous doing so.Back to my tagline. I like these boots. I'm glad I got them, and plan on using them regularly over the Fall and winter months extensively.

    I wasn't sure what to expect at the $80 price point, but these boots have exceeded my expectations. We recently got a foot of snow and I've worn these out to shovel and play with my kids, with nothing but a regular pair of socks on my feet, and they've stayed warm and dry. The mid calf height is great and the soles are thick and grippy. I typically wear a 13 and these boots are maybe a half size big, but I also haven't used them with thick wool socks like I normally wear in the winter. About the only knock I have is the silly brand name on the upper, but that's a small nit.
