These boots are heavy so I assume they will be durable. If not for the floral pattern on the inside, I don¡¯t think you could distinguish them from men¡¯s boots. I ordered a size 11 which is a good sandal size for me, but can normally be too small in boots and athletic shoes. However, these size 11 are generously sized, and I can easily wear a pair of socks with these boots. They don¡¯t have arches in them, so you may have room for an insert with your normal size , too.
These boots will get the job done of staying dry for rainy days, yard work, gardening etc. However, the material feels very "plastic-like" and stiff, and the boots fit a bit too large. So they're not very comfortable for prolonged walking or hiking. The sole/tread design is a standard zig-zag with decent grip on wet surfaces.
Those Brits love their gum boots. I thought about getting a pair of these for myself, but I decided to get them for my wife instead. She likes gardening, mushrooming, camping, and whatnot. I thought these would be good for keeping out the muck and should be pretty good for keeping ticks in check with some tucking or a wrap of gaffer's tape. She liked them right out of the box. They have a nice neoprene exterior and a good sole and heel that was appealing. I got the black ones for her and she also liked the bright yellow liner and pattern. The fit was accurate for her and she finds them to be comfortable to wear. They are warm; maybe I'll have her shovel the drive this winter just to be sure. That will be nice in the bitter cold of winter but might cause some sweating looking for morels in Iowa. Nothing that I probably wouldn't expect in any other footwear that she would wear on such an occasion. She hasn't had them on enough times that I can really speak to durability, but they strike me as being well-made. There isn't a lot more that I can tell you about them at this point. They seem like a good value for the money based on what I have seen. I would, and may buy them again but that might put me back to shoveling the snow. Maybe I'll wait. If I notice anything about them that is good or an issue, I will update my review. Otherwise, I would say this is a good buy.
these galoshes/boots are very comfortable and look very stylish. They are very well-made, waterproof. I now look forward to working outdoors because they are so comfortable.
